Immediate Accident Care
In case during the use of the bicycle, it is immobilized by an accident which makes its movement impossible, the company covers its transportation to a local repair shop or at the place of residence of the insured.
Civil Liability
In case you cause bodily harm or property damage to a third party while cycling, we cover the damage up to the amount of €50,000.
Theft
Covers total theft of the bike from the main residence, the storage room of the main residence or from the enclosed garage of the main residence of the insured, as long as they were locked and there are obvious signs of tampering at the entry-exit points.
Bicycle Own Damages
Damages resulting of an accident that occur to the insured’s bicycle are compensated, during its proper use.
Personal Injury
In case of an accident the cyclist is compensated for:
- Medical expenses up to €1,000
- Medical or surgical fees are covered, hospital or clinic expenses, x-rays, laboratory examinations, fee of a dedicated nurse within the hospital or clinic, use of an ambulance, medicines, physiotherapy expenses, surgical dressings, splints, plaster bandages, crutches, metal implants, special equipment needed and mechanical aid products.
- Repair, replacement or purchase of glasses or contact lenses up to €500
- All replacement costs for contact lenses or eyeglasses are covered to which the insured was subjected and which were destroyed by the accident.
- Dental damage restoration up to €500
- All expenses incurred by the insured for the treatment or restoration of his natural teeth damaged by the accident are covered.
- Allowance of up to €2,000 for helmet use in the event of an accident resulting in loss of life or permanent total disability
- Loss of life with €10,000
- In case of loss of life from an accident or bodily injury which will result in the loss of life of the insured, the company will pay compensation.
- Permanent total disability with €10,000
- In the event that physical damage from an accident results in permanent total disability to the insured, which does not allow him to practice a profession or work for a fee, the company will pay compensation.
